CFA 6550 - A Child's Windsor Rocking Chair
A delightful 19th century child's Windsor rocking chair. The chair is made from ash and elm has four spindles to the back and a shaped little seat, this is supported by four turned legs united by a H stretcher. The back of the seat is initialed J.B. Capturing this was quite difficult as you can see in the last photo, they are so small, the camera wouldn't focus. The initials are 1cm wide and less than 1cm high.
